The dock at Nipper's Bar
One of the most popular boating and sailing destinations in the world is the Abacos islands in the Bahamas. Not only are these islands full of white sand beaches and beautiful views, but these boomerang shaped islands and cays provide a haven for snorkelers and scuba divers. After spending the day exploring the islands, you're sure to be "nipped and grabbed"! No, I'm not talking about some sort of physical assault, I'm talking about two beach bars that are right across the street from each other.
For a good "nip", head over to Nipper's Beach Bar on Great Guana Cay! This tiki bar offers awesome views of the white sand beaches, as well as two pools, music, great food and fun people. There's a pig roast every Sunday, as well as a lunch and dinner menu daily.
Dance the night away, chill out on a hammock chair, or lounge in the pool. Nippers has whatever you're in the mood for 364 days a year, from 7 a.m. until the last customer can party no longer.
Grabber's Bar, pool and beach
If you prefer to be "grabbed", then head across the street to Grabber's Bed, Bar and Grill where you can enjoy the infamous Guana Grabber... a smooth, and pink, rum drink that will have you "grabbing" who knows what after more than one!
Drink and stay at Grabber's, which provides tropical accomodations plus a grill with themed dinners every Wednesday through Saturday night. Grabber's also has access to a brand new 36 slip marina with power and water just a few steps away from the hotel. Whether you are at Grabbers for a few days or just anchored in the lagoon, there's plenty of food, drink and fun!
So, go ahead ... get "nipped" and "grabbed" when in the Bahamas! You'll enjoy it!
